How to Get a Response to Your Press Release

You probably know that Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan on December 7, 1941.
But did you know…
…John Lennon was murdered December 8, 1980?
… the computer mouse was developed December 9, 1968?
… Emily Dickinson’s birthday was December 10, 1830? (a fact every poet should have memorized!)
When you write a news release, tie it in with an upcoming holiday or event; your article may be just what an editor or producer needs to fill an open slot in their schedule.
Right now, plan your press releases for 2010.
