Kathleen Sawyer, author of The Day Sad Arrived, will be a guest on KNMT-TV‘s Northwest Focus Friday, July 24 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time.
She’ll also guest on KJAB 88.3 FM in Missouri on Tuesday, July 28, at 11 a.m.
The Day Sad Arrived is a tender story and an effective tool to help children suffering loss understand their feelings and work through them.
The book was inspired by a young man who today is sixteen years old. When he was eleven, he was extremely depressed. During a counseling session the author asked him, “What day did Sad arrive?” He stopped, thought a moment, and replied, “The day my uncle committed suicide.”
That was the day when God began to change this young man’s life. He worked hard to discover new feelings and to see them as friends rather than foes. Today, this young man is in ministry and is blessing many people in his walk with the Lord.
