New Release: From Lightning to the Light

Author Dennis Koranek begins his exciting story of time travel, invention, and adventure with a dark and stormy night as Dr. Matthew Carpenter is struck by lightning and discovers he has a photographic memory and a mind that can work as fast as a computer at creating inventions. His initial invention is a machine that repairs damaged body parts by removing bad cells and cloning good ones.

When Matthew and his wife Jennifer have children, they discover their daughter is a genius. She and her father find a way to harness the power of the stars. During a time when an anti-religion group almost succeeds in taking over the world, Matthew’s son buries a Bible. The story continues when five hundred years later the Bible is found, the World Science Foundation does an in-depth study of the book. They realize the only way to know the truth is to go back in time to verify it. When they do, what they find is more than they expected!

Koranek, a science fiction enthusiast for many years, spent 27 years in engineering for aircraft and nuclear power simulation and provides engineering support to law enforcement. He, his wife, Linda, and their six children live on their family farm in Madison, VA.
